MEALTIME SUGAR-BLOCKER™

MEALTIME SUGAR-BLOCKER™ is an innovative blend of potent herbal ingredients formulated to reduce blood sugar spikes and carbohydrate absorption from food.  Eating sugar or carbohydrates makes it more difficult to keep your blood sugar in the normal range.  By reducing the absorption of sugar in the intestines, you can support overall blood sugar health and weight loss efforts, even if you don’t have diabetes.  Clinical studies have shown that many patients are able to reduce the number of prescription medications needed with the specific ingredients and doses used in MEALTIME SUGAR-BLOCKER™.  Our formula strongly promotes:

  • Reduced absorption of dietary sugars and carbohydrates
  • Healthy after-meal blood sugar levels
  • Healthy weight loss, without stimulants!
  • Slowed absorption of remaining carbs to give a longer fullness feeling
  • Reduced sugar cravings
  • Healthy energy levels

INGREDIENTS

Each dose of MEALTIME SUGAR-BLOCKER™ includes:

  • BERBERINE 500 mg
  • GYMNEMA SYLVESTRE 200 mg (recommended 400 mg total daily dose)

It is recommended to take 5-10 minutes before eating meals where you are consuming carbohydrates or sugar.

AFTER-MEAL BLOOD SUGAR MANAGEMENT

It is normal for blood glucose to mildly rise after eating (<40 mg/dL within 2 hours after food).  However, if your after-meal rises are dramatic and frequent (referred to as postprandial hyperglycemia), they can cause a higher A1C than your fasting blood sugar readings might imply.  This can directly increase your risk of serious diabetes complications.  In fact, postprandial glucose is the leading cause of high A1C readings in most people. Furthermore, a rapid rise in blood glucose levels after meals has been shown to affect the ability to concentrate, stay alert, and perform physical tasks.

DUAL ROBUST BLOCKING MECHANISMS

  • HELPS BLOCK SUGAR ABSORPTION

Berberine is an herbal compound found in plants used in ancient Chinese medicine. Berberine and Gymnema, when used together, have a powerful ability to block alpha-glucosidase, an intestinal enzyme that breaks down carbohydrates into simple sugars. This leaves many sugars unabsorbed in the digestive system.  When fewer sugars are absorbed, fewer calories are absorbed - which can help you achieve your weight loss goals.  Less sugar in the blood also means less chance of sugars being converted into body fat by insulin.

  • HELPS BLOCK CRAVINGS

Gymnema Sylvestra has been used in ancient Indian medical practice to reduce sugar cravings – its name actually means “Sugar Destroyer”.  Blocking sugar receptors on the tongue helps to cut cravings for sweets, sugary foods, and beverages. Additionally, slowing absorption of sugar from foods helps the body feel fuller longer – meaning you have less urge to eat!

RESEARCH BEHIND THE FORMULA…

BERBERINE

Berberine in clinical studies with our doses…

… was as effective as the prescription medication Metformin!

…has shown significant decreases in HbA1C from 9.5% to 7.5%.

…Another analysis showed that using berberine can lower HbA1C by up to 0.71%.

…Reduced weight by approximately 5 lbs.

** Research supports a 500 mg dose per serving of Berberine to promote healthy blood sugars.  Higher doses could lead to berberine toxicity and lower doses may not be effective. Do not take more than directed on the bottle.

GYMNEMA SYLVESTRE

Gymnema in clinical studies with our doses…

…reduced mean fasting sugars by 11%, after meal sugars by 13%, and HbA1C by up to 1.1%.

…Patients were able to reduce their drug dosages, and 5 people were even able to stop their prescription medications and maintain normal blood sugar levels. Another study showed 16% of patients had a decrease in prescription medicine intake while taking Gymnema.

…has shown a 5–6% decrease in body weight, as well as reduced food intake likely due to appetite suppression.  Patients also had an improved BMI and smaller waist circumference.

** If you have prediabetes, losing 5% body weight and getting regular physical activity can significantly lower your risk for developing type 2 diabetes.
