The best time to prevent type 2 diabetes is right now. Without intervention, around 70% of people with prediabetes will go on to develop type 2 diabetes. We developed a fast-acting formula that is specifically designed for people who have prediabetes or family history of type 2 diabetes. EARLY DEFENSE™ is a groundbreaking 4 in 1 blend formulated with researched ingredients that have demonstrated type 2 diabetes prevention.
By targeting the root cause of high blood sugars early on, this supplement can support your type 2 diabetes prevention efforts through promoting pancreas health, replacing nutritional deficiencies nearly impossible to correct with diet alone, and by helping your body respond better to the insulin that it's already making.
EARLY DEFENSE™ includes safe and effective ingredients that promote:
- Healthy Pancreas Function
- Blood Sugar Stabilization
- Energy Levels
- Reduced insulin resistance to optimize insulin function
- Anti-inflammatory activity
Each daily dose of EARLY DEFENSE includes:
- TURMERIC ROOT EXTRACT 500 mg
- BANABA 50 mg
- MAGNESIUM OXIDE 100 mg
- Vitamin D3 2000 IU
Take 1 capsule once daily before a meal. Increase to 2 capsules daily for maximum benefits.
To optimize results, it is recommended to take with MEALTIME SUGAR-BLOCKER™ which can also promote healthy weight loss.
** If you have prediabetes, losing 5% body weight and getting regular physical activity can significantly lower your risk for developing type 2 diabetes.
WHAT IS PREDIABETES
Prediabetes a condition in which blood sugar is high, but not high enough to be type 2 diabetes. In response to higher blood sugar levels your body releases insulin, a hormone made by the pancreas. This is usually due to insulin resistance which can be caused by genetics, weight, unbalanced diet, or lack of exercise. Insulin resistance means that your pancreas is still able to produce insulin, but it is becoming less and less effective at removing sugar from the bloodstream. Your pancreas makes more insulin to try to counteract this resistance until eventually, it can’t keep up, setting the stage for type 2 diabetes down the road.
HEALTH BENEFITS OF EARLY DEFENSE™
What Does the Research Say?
Without intervention, most people with pre-diabetes will develop type 2 diabetes.
Here's the Good News; nearly every case of prediabetes is reversible
EARLY DEFENSE™ is specially designed to support your prediabetes needs. Our formula uses anti-inflammatory mechanisms to reduce insulin resistance and support pancreas health to help you maintain healthy blood sugar levels.
Pancreas Health – Combat Insulin Resistance
The pancreas becomes overworked and eventually, the beta-cells (the insulin-producing cells in the pancreas) can lose the ability to make enough insulin. By the time you’re diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, the damage to pancreatic-beta cells is significant. Taking action early to stop and reverse damage to the pancreas is critical in type 2 diabetes prevention.
The antioxidant Curcumin is a naturally-occurring chemical polyphenol compound found in the spice Turmeric. It plays a meaningful role in reducing inflammation and oxidative stress to maintain healthy pancreatic beta-cell function. In a study of 240 patients with prediabetes treated for 9 months with curcumin, 16.4% of subjects in the placebo group were diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, whereas NONE were diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in the curcumin-treated group.
Banaba also has documented benefits in people with prediabetes. A clinical study has shown that Banaba dosed at 50mg once daily improved insulin sensitivity and helped to preserve beta cell pancreatic function in subjects with prediabetes.
Fatty Liver Disease and Diabetes
In clinical trials, curcumin was associated with a significant reduction in liver fat content.
Researchers have found that people with fatty liver were significantly more likely to develop type 2 diabetes within five years. It is estimated that 80% of people diagnosed with type 2 diabetes have fatty liver.
Correct Nutritional Deficiencies – Magnesium & Vitamin D3
Higher dietary magnesium intake is associated with lower fasting insulin concentrations - which implies better insulin function. Other research suggests that a 100 mg/day increase in dietary magnesium intake is associated with a 15% risk reduction for developing type 2 diabetes.
Magnesium Oxide was carefully chosen in this formula as it contains a much greater amount of usable elemental magnesium than what is provided by other magnesium salt supplements. This means It delivers more magnesium per capsule so it can get into your bloodstream to deliver all of its many benefits – including promoting insulin function and its well-known impact on heart health.
In a clinical study of over 900 adult patients, increasing blood vitamin D levels reduced the risk of developing diabetes by approximately 70-81%. Evidence suggests that vitamin D helps make insulin-producing cells more resistant to the types of cellular stress encountered during diabetes. The figure below shows the correlation of reduced diabetes incidence with increasing blood (plasma) vitamin D levels.
