Cholesterol 24 Hour
Cardiovascular disease is common in people with diabetes, and high cholesterol can contribute to cardiac risk. This is why American Diabetes Association recommends that LDL, triglycerides, and HDL cholesterol levels are more aggressively managed in people with diabetes.
Keeping both A1C and cholesterol numbers under control will help reduce cardiovascular risk. Our natural support can help!
How Does It Work?
Reduces cholesterol production in the liver
Blocks key liver enzymes for cholesterol synthesis including HMG-CoA reductase.
Sequesters Bile Acids
Increasing the fecal elimination of bile acid encourages the body to convert cholesterol in the blood to bile acids.
Supports healthy HDL cholesterol levels
Inhibits Cholesteryl ester transfer protein to promote healthy ratios of HDL (good) versus LDL (bad) cholesterol.
Boosts Nitric Oxide Production
Promotes smooth muscle relaxation and vasodilation for healthy blood pressure.

100% Natural Herbal Ingredients
Green Tea Extract – 640 mg (50% ECGC) High Potency
Green tea contains the catechin epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG). EGCG can inhibit apical sodium bile acid transporter in intestinal cells to reduce the amount of bile acids returned to the liver. This decrease in bile acid resorption causes the liver to convert cholesterol from the blood to bile acid – resulting in an uptake of plasma LDL cholesterol.
Clinical studies also show it reduces oxidation of LDL cholesterol when compared with placebo, which promotes health of the vascular endothelium and supports cardiac health.
Policosanol– 20 mg
Medical research shows that policosanol interferes with cholesterol production in the liver, by blocking HMG-CoA reductase or suppressing its activity through promoting its phosphorylation by AMP-kinase.
Additionally, studies suggest that policosanol promotes healthy HDL levels by inhibiting Cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP) – an enzyme that helps exchange triglycerides and cholesteryl ester between HDL and certain lipoproteins (VLDL & LDL).
Garlic – 600 mg
Clinical research shows the active constituents in garlic powder (alliin & ajoene) inhibit cholesterol synthesis by blocking enzymes including HMG-CoA reductase, sterol 4a-methyl oxidase, squalene epoxidase, and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase.
Studies show garlic can also boost Nitric Oxide levels to promote smooth muscle relaxation and vasodilation for healthy blood pressure.
